You're pregnant, postpartum or have young children. You feel like you're losing your identity or struggling to cope with all of the changes that motherhood brings. Others tell you this is supposed to be the happiest time of your life— yet there can be feelings of guilt, shame, overwhelm, anger and inadequacy. These are common and you don't have to experience them alone!
Mom-guilt is REAL. It's easy to put everyone else's needs first, pushing yours further and further back. There's so much judgement and pressure for moms to "do it all"– but that's unrealistic, and can leave you feeling burned out.
You're not alone, it's not your fault. With time & support you will feel better. Taking care of yourself will help you take even better care of your child, and improve your ability to show-up in relationships that are important to you.
Together we'll explore your values, expectations and needs to build-in self-care and support that's helpful (and realistic) for you. Navigating body and mood changes, relationships, and returning to work are common stressors we can talk about.
