You're told this is supposed to be the happiest time of your life— yet there's guilt, shame, negative thoughts such as anger, anxiety or depression and feelings of inadequacy. You're not alone, it's not your fault. With time & support you will feel better.
Mom-guilt is REAL. It's easy to put everyone else's needs first, pushing yours further and further back. Maybe it seems like you must do it all and you have a hard time sharing the load with others. Motherhood often brings up feelings of vulnerability, thinking about your own childhood and relationships.
Taking care of yourself will help you take even better care of your child, and improve your ability to show-up in relationships that are important to you.
Together we'll explore your values, expectations and needs to build self-care and support that's helpful and realistic for you. This may include physical body changes, emotional and spiritual wellbeing, relationships and healthy boundaries.
