Crisis Lines

  • Canada's Suicide Crisis Hotline – Call or text 9-8-8.  A safe space to talk, available 24/7.
  • ConnexOntario — Tel: 1-866 -531-2600 or Text "CONNEX" to 247247. Free and confidential health services information for people experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs, mental health and/or gambling. Available 24/7.  

Women's Health

  • Health811 (formerly Telehealth Ontario) is a free, secure, and confidential service available 24/7 for Ontarians to get health advice from registered nurses, use an AI symptom checker, locate local healthcare services, and access reliable information.                     
  • Health Care Connect — Register by telephone or online to obtain a family doctor or nurse practitioner in Ontario
  • Sex & U –  a trusted educational website created by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC) , offering clear, up‑to‑date, and unbiased information on sexual and reproductive health—covering topics like consent, birth control, STIs, relationships, and more.
  • Pregnancy Info – a trusted, evidence-based resource developed by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC). It offers comprehensive guidance—from preconception through postpartum—on topics like fertility, prenatal tests, healthy pregnancy habits, labour, delivery options, and postpartum care
  • Menopause & U –  a trusted educational website developed by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC), offering clear, evidence-based information about perimenopause, menopause, symptoms, and treatment options. 


Perinatal Mental Health Support

  • Postpartum Support International — 1-800-944-4773 (4PPD)

              Free call/text helpline, support groups, peer mentor programs 


  • Perinatal Mental Health Discussion Tool – This tool can help track your symptoms and discuss them with your healthcare provider.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support

  • Sunnybrook's Pregnancy & Infant Loss (PAIL) Network: (Ontario)— 1-888-303-7245 (PAIL) or pailnetwork@sunnybrook.ca 

              Free, peer-led group & 1:1 support services. Loss- specific support.  

              Interpreters available.

  • Frontline Wellness Program -Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care

              Free & confidential support via 1:1 sessions, groups & mini workshops. Available to anyone in Ontario who works in healthcare or social services including frontline workers and those not in direct patient contact, students & volunteers.
